Kansai NPO Alliance holds a "Children's Plaza'' where children with foreign roots can learn Japanese for free. Participants are elementary and junior high school students and their parents. Students can participate at any time. As of April 2024, nine students from second grade of elementary school to third grade of junior high school, with roots in China, the Philippines, and Vietnam, are participating.

At Children's Plaza, Students can learn Japanese "reading, speaking, and writing" one-on-one with a teacher. At the same time, we also provide support for school studies and homework. To create a place where children can have fun, we also encourage children to interact with each other through traditional Japanese play and games.

At the same time, we provide Japanese language learning support for parents in a separate room. It provides easy-to-understand explanations in simple Japanese about school information that parents must share, as well as accurate information about events happening in Japanese society.

Children's Plaza tours are available every Wednesday. Although it is located in Higashi Sumiyoshi Ward, we can also accept children with foreign roots living in Hirano Ward and Sumiyoshi Ward. Please join us to learn Japanese. We are waiting for you.

Children's Plaza can always accept students who wish to participate. If you would like to tour or participate in Children's Plaza, please contact us by email or phone.
